Projects: www.i-madethisforyou.blogspot.com Music "A Beautiful Distraction" by Christine Nguyen Want to know more about the artist? Visit her channel here: www.youtube.com Materials: 4 yards of stretch knit Tools: Sewing machine Ball-point needles Measuring Tape Ruler Scissors Chalk Pins Measurements: Circle Skirt: original square was 44" by 44". Once the waist was cut into the circle, the length of the skirt was about 17" Waistband: mine was 24" x 10" (I made it really tight) Straps: 20" x 90" The straps should be 1.5 times your height. Really. (I am exactly 5 feet = 60 inches. 60 x 1.5 = 90. I think.) Sew the straps along the same seam as the waistband and skirt. The longer the straps, the more creative you can tie them, and the more ways you can wear the dress. The original dress is sold by Victoria's Secret for about -. I bought the fabric for from Joann's. It was simpler than I thought it was going to be. There are countless ways to tie and wear this dress, so it was definitely worth making, albeit, a pain in the ass.
